What activities does Timber-lee have?
Acorns (snacks, Carpet Ball, Foosball, Ping-Pong), Broomball Tournament, Chapel — Bible teaching & worship band, Cross Country Skiing, Expresso Bar ($), Gaga Ball, Karaoke, Leather Shop ($), Nature Center (hold animals), Snow Shoeing, Toboggan Run, 2 Tubbing Hills, & more!
What does the $167 fee include & what costs more money?
The $167 retreat cost includes all food during the weekend, housing, & most camp activities. You can also bring $ for optional: snacks & drinks, t-shirts/items at the camp store, horse trail rides ($15), zipline ($10), and projects to make at the leather shop ($2 & up).
Why are the retreats separate for JH & SH students?
We have a separate retreats so that students get chances to connect more intentionally with peers closer to their own age than usually happens at SWITCH and other events. It gives more space to bring friends too.
Why Camp Timber-lee?
Camp Timber-lee is closer to SVBC, has more local churches at it, and has a good mix of activities for all interests & ages—for example the Nature Center for those who don't enjoy being outside as much.
Is there a packing list or general schedule?
Yes, see the 2 brochures at the links above for a packing list, schedule, and more info. An email with the packing list will also be sent out a week before we leave.
