Why Men's ministry?
Every journey within faith is unique and that is why at SVBC we have so many opportunities for members of our congregation to practice and develop their faith.
For men, there is not only the natural need for fellowship and support, but also the additional responsibility of being fathers, sons, leaders, and protectors for those we love. Our loved ones count on the men in their lives to be there for them.
"Be strong, and let us use our strength for our people, and for the cities of our God, and may the lord do what seems good to him."
I Chron. 19:13
The biblical standard for being a man is at once a tremendous honor and a humbling responsibility. For each man, it's important that he draws upon the power of his Lord; that he knows the love and forgiveness of God's Son, Jesus Christ; and that he realizes the support of his church.
