About Tim Nash
Tim began attending Skokie Valley Baptist Church in 2001. Tim worked as a volunteer in the High School youth group. Tim approached the leadership of Skokie Valley in 2003 and asked that they consider commissioning him as a missionary to Mexico, which they did later that year. Tim was sent out with an initial two year commitment to work in Tecate Mexico, arriving there in January of 2004. After two years, Tim came back and reported to the leadership and missions team, asking to be sent back to Tecate to work there long term. He has been working there ever since.
Skokie Valley plays a vital role in Tecate. The prayers and spiritual covering has been crucial to the long term effect and fruitfulness of this ministry. Skokie’s financial support has provided needed materials and supplies to the people of this city.
In 2016 Tim had the opportunity to receive and host a short term team from Skokie Valley that blessed a local orphanage and church and is currently planning with the leaders of Skokie Valley to build a long-term partnership.
