Ministry Experience:
Esteban and his wife were born in
Colombia
. His parents served as missionaries for the Christian and
Missionary alliance in
Colombia. He
worked as an accountant and lawyer in
Colombia
before immigrating to the
USA
. He received his MDiv from Northern Baptist
Seminary in
Lombard
,
IL. While in
seminary he taught at
East
Aurora
High School
in their bilingual program. He also served
as the assistant director of the
Hispanic
Bible
School
in
Chicago
and planted an urban church. Since 1991
Esteban and Maria have planted four Hispanic Baptist churches
and are currently pastoring the
Centro
Cristiano
Baptist
Church
in
Houston,
Texas.
